Storm Bound is the first novel in the Jayne Storm Series, an idea that came to me during the NaNoWriMo of 2007. Jayne Storm is a trouble-magnet who, in an attempt to save her friend, manages to get herself bonded to the Amulet of Peace, which is anything but peaceful for Jayne. Suddenly, she’s got everyone and their grandmother out to possess her. And on top of that, she has to rely on the Chief Guardian in charge of retrieving the amulet, and she’s never been too fond of cops, including this one.
I had a blast writing this book. I don’t think I’ll ever get rich off this one book but writing is what I love and I really just wanted to share it. So enjoy it, and if you feel so inclined, let me know how you liked it.
I’ve temporarily shelved Storm Lost as I work on other stories for which I’ve got deadlines to meet but don’t worry. I fully intend to return to Jayne Storm’s world soon.
